From November 13th to 17th in San Miguel de Allende, you can attend one of the most outstanding festivals of its kind in Latin America. Here are the artists line up of this year’s program.
The XXV International Jazz & Blues Festival offers you an excellent opportunity to visit the beautiful Angela Peralta classical theater, named in honor of the famous Mexican soprano, this elegant venue is where concerts will take place.
2019 program:
Wednesday November 13th | 19:00 hr | DUSHA CONNECTION JAZZ TRIO | Playing all kinds of styles, but never forgetting their Balkan roots, they follow the composite piece and leave room for artistic improvisations.
Thursday November 14th | 19:00 hr | SIMON WYRSCH | He is among the best young jazz clarinetists in the world, admired by the public and by journalists, who write excellent reviews.
Friday November 15th | 19:00 hr | WHITNEY SHAY | Four-time winner of the San Diego Music Award (including the Artist of the Year 2019) and nominated for the 2019 Blues Music Award. Music critics call the singer “a blues icon in the future” (Blues Matters!).
Saturday November 16th | 19:00 hr | SARAH REICH & CASEY ABRAMS | Interpreter, choreographer, instructor, composer, has become one of the new leaders in the art of Tap Dance.
Sunday November 17th | 19:00 hr | ANTONIO LOZOYA JAZZ & BLUES COLLECTIVE & SPECIAL GUESTS | Graduated from the Higher School of Music of Mexico City in the Jazz Degree. He has performed at various Festivals in Mexico, Cuba and the United States, accompanying prominent personalities.
